Introduction
PhonTuner provides tuning modes with tuning marks for Cello, Viola, Violin, Guitar. For other instruments, select "Custom" and define the notes to be tuned. For vocal, select "Singing" and the range of frequency will be automatically adjusted from C2 to C8.

A spiral shaped Mathematical Cochlea is an octave-meter to measure the pitch of musical instrument and singing. While the Sound Texture Icon in the middle displays the timbre of sound; the circle Target marks on the Mathematical Cochlea is used for tuning.

Error meter and marks on the right hand-side for showing the degree of error from the tuning note. Numerical frequency, note and deviation display at the bottom.

Adjustable frequency scale on the right top corner for adjusting the reference frequency of A4 from 435Hz to 445Hz in 1Hz increment when using the slider bar, or in 0.5Hz increment or decrement when using two buttons at both end of the slider bar.
