The sound texture diagram makes use of the X-Y coordinate system. You can easily see the waveform of sound in a real-time display.


4. Musical Kaleidoscope

The musical kaleidoscope uses the polar coordinate in which the angular motion is at half of the basic musical note frequency.


5. Circular Score

The circular score shows the frequency components of sound and simultaneously shows the time profile of frequencies in the graph instead of the instantaneous frequency strengths.


6. Mathematical Cochlea

To see the sound in its frequency aspect just like what our ears do. In engineering, we can use spectral analysis.
